Terms and Conditions

Under our terms and conditions, we are The Sanding Room Ltd, a company registered at 49 Station Road, Polegate, East Sussex (registration number 09652941). When you (the person named on the order) place an order with us, you are agreeing to do business with us under the following terms.

General Conditions

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Your offer and these terms together with the item description will form the contract between us. Your order is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we’ve dispatched that product to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.


All charges always include VAT at the relevant rate (company VAT no.: GB272214820). VAT receipt is provided either in paper form or electronically via e-mail.


We offer all our goods on a payment-with-order basis. This means you must pay us when you place the order. We welcome payment by PayPal, Credit / Debit cards, Google Pay. We will only accept your order if we receive the payment in full. We don’t accept payments over the phone due to the security reasons.

Placing an Order

After selecting the item / items you wish to purchase you will be shown a ‘Buy Now’ button. The item will be added to your shopping basket once this button is pressed. You can then continue shopping or click on the ‘Checkout’ button to pay. Then you will be forwarded to chosen preferred payment method for payment.

You can either Sign in with Facebook account, Open new account with us or just place your order and the checkout will direct you to PayPal payment. If you choose to open an account you will be able to review previous orders and we will save your address details to make ordering easier and quicker next time. We do not keep your payment details.

Amendments / Cancellations

We will email you to confirm the order details. Please check this email carefully. We normally pack and send out orders very quickly so if you want to amend or cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible using the contact options HERE.
If we have not already sent the goods out, we will amend or cancel your order and issue a full refund (including delivery charges) to the payment method used to place your order. We will make the refund as soon as possible and within 7 days of cancellation.

Please be aware that if order is in process of dispatching, we are unable to amend or cancel the order. But you can still get a refund by following the returns procedure set out below.


We will normally send you your items on the same working day, as long as we receive your order before 12pm.

Our normal business hours are Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm.

Please note we are not operate during the Weekends and Bank Holidays. Orders placed during these days will be send following first working day.

We will deliver your order to any address in the United Kingdom. For standard Free delivery, we use a Royal Mail and national carrier companies and in the most cases you will receive your goods within 2 – 5 working days. If you live in a remote area or the carrier finds your address more difficult to find, your delivery may take a little longer. With some of the more remote areas such as the Highlands of Scotland, delivery can take several days. If a quicker delivery is important, you may choose one of our premium delivery options. Whether these options are available will depend on where you are and, in some cases, the time of day. We will confirm this with you at the time you place your order.

Delivery for items delivered direct from our suppliers can take between 2 and 7 working days. The items will be delivered by the supplier’s chosen carrier. Once you have placed your order which contains items delivered directly from our suppliers, we will contact you by e-mail or phone with more delivery information.


We aim to keep enough stock so that we never run out. However, at times when there is unexpectedly high demand, we may unfortunately run out of stock. If this happens, we may delay sending out your order for a couple of days while we get new stock. We will inform you about this. If you have chosen a premium delivery option, or we are expecting a longer delay, we will use the information you have given with your order to let you know about our progress. You may contact us at any time to check on the progress of your order.

Unwanted Goods 30-DAY Refund

Once we have despatched your goods you can return them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery without giving a reason, as long as they are with their original packaging and unused. You will be responsible for returning the goods to us (and have to pay any costs involved) and we are allowed to reduce your refund if there is any damage to the goods caused by you handling them. We will make all refunds to the payment method used to place your order and we will pay you within 7 days of us receiving the goods you have sent back to us.

Quality Assurance

If any of the goods we supply fail to perform satisfactorily due to faulty materials or workmanship, contact us at any time and we will work with you to deal with the problem. This may involve a repair, providing a replacement product or giving you a full or partial refund. Your rights, defined in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are not affected by these terms.

Incorrect Orders

If you have received an incorrect product sent by our fault, please accept our sincere apologies and let us know as soon as possible by e-mail HERE. We will arrange to advise our Freepost returns address and send a replacement as soon as possible.

Unexpected Circumstances

If things like strikes, wars, acts of terrorism or even small things like power cuts interfere with our business with you, we will do our best to keep things going. However, we will not be legally responsible to you for any failure which is due to these unexpected circumstances or any other situation outside our control.

Age Restrictions

Age restrictions apply to some goods we supply. By ordering these goods, you are confirming that you are over 18 and that the person receiving the delivery is also over 18. To make sure we are keeping to the law, we may occasionally have to ask you to provide proof of age (either by email or post).
